Cars were made by Karl Benz in 1885 but it was long thought of before him as early as the days of Leonardo da Vinci and in 1769 a man from France Nicholas-Joseph Cugnot made a self propelled vehicle that was as fast as someone walking so it was abandoned and in 1832 a man from Scotland, Robert Anderson who made an electrical carriage that had to be charged frequently so in 1839 it was then abandoned.
